Great picture while it lasted

I usually buy samsung no questions asked. But I just got this 65in crystal uhd tv and it's been 12 days and I got the black screen of death. After this and our washer and dryer sucking I'll be questioning buying samsung outside of cell phones. Just swapped the TV for another one at the store fingers crossed it was just a bad tv
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you do not see any picture, there are three potential issues.
1) A connection issue is the most common problem where there is a bad connection, faulty cables, or improper installation. 2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV. 3) There is something wrong with the TV, requiring a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.

It has a good picture but could use a better home screen, more apps (like VNC) and voice control.

While the DU6900 does not have voice assistants built in, it is compatible with Alexa. You can connect them to your existing Alexa device to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more. Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants.

This is a nice TV for the price. I will note that this was an exact replacement when I moved into a new home. This TV is obviously large and when I was attempting to hang the original on the wall, I apparently pressed the screen with my thumb near the top center. When I turned on the TV, the screen was broken so beware of how it is handled. To be fair, the new TV instructions did warn the buyer not to press on the screen - this was a home move, and I didn't have the original instructions. The picture is excellent and the remote is easy enough to use. This TV features HDMI(Arc) but I wish it had an optical input to pair with surround sound system or other inputs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very disappointing

I just got this TV in February.I have been very disappointed with my TV. I’ve had a Samsung TV forever and the picture has always been perfect and the sound was fabulous. This TV; The picture always seems dark and the sound is horrible. I bought the sound bar when I bought the TV.

Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.
For sound adjustments, go to Settings> All Settings> Sound.

The best tv I have ever owned!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to own a much cheaper tv and decided to get one of these samsung tvs and let me tell you just how much different the quality is overall. When watching movies the quality is so smooth and seamless it feels like you're in a movie theater, and paired with the samsung speakers I bought I no longer go to the movies because of how amazing the sound and picture quality is. Movie nights are so much better and I will definitely never go back to any other tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV was bought for me as a gift. I love the fact that I can connect it to my Alexa and the fact that it has Bixby. The picture/color is Crystal clear, so ut has the perfect name. Everything seems to come alive on the screen. I love it!
