55 inch junk

Unit went totally out after 4 months of use. 55 inch.
The unit that this junk replaced was also a 55 inch Samsung. It still works but was growing a stripe across the field of view. Out of warranty so will have to junk it, too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Somewhat Lacking

I bought this a month ago and am somewhat disappointed. I wanted it for a computer monitor and it would not hold the cast and took 30 to 40 minutes to connect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your feedback on the Samsung DU6900 TV. We are very sorry to hear the remote is not functioning properly.
If you have not already done so, please try replacing the remote's batteries. To open the remote, flip the remote over, press down firmly, and slide the back cover down in the direction of the indicators. Sliding the backside on the remove toward the indicators will expose a small gap on the front side of the remote. The exposed gap allows for easy gripping of the back cover so that the back cover can be removed.

I purchased this tv during Black Friday. I was somewhat disappointed because the picture seemed dark and the volume has to be turned up past 55-60 to hear the broadcast. I have owned Samsung tvs in the past but never had this kind of problem. I have managed to make some adjustments to make things tolerable.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with the DU6900 TV. Your feedback regarding image and sound quality is essential to us and will be shared with our internal teams. Please try adjusting the below image settings to improve your picture.
Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.
For sound adjustments, go to Settings> All Settings> Sound.

I bought my Samsung Crystal 60 inch in the winter time of last year, 2024 because my Vizio 55 inch began to go out the screen was turning white from the bottom up, my Vizio was only four years old and after purchasing my new Samsung and using it I miss my remote control that I can press the numbers with the speakability of the Roku/Vizio remote and the fact that the antenna aspect has always been my gripe having a really nice television and can't enjoy watching it because of the reception and lack of due to junk waste antennas that filling the pockets of genius minds.
I would recommend this to a friend!
