Not compatible

The tv is great but I bought a Samsung sound bar to go with it and the cable would not connect to the tv set. Why would you make a tv and sound bar that are not compatible.

The DU6900 TV offers 2 HDMI ports and is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capable, allowing a seamless connection across multiple devices at a time. If your external device requires an Optical port, we recommend utilizing an HDMI to Optical Converter. These can be found at your local electronics store. Please also keep in mind that an Optical port can be found on our DU8000F Series and above.

Sound and remote

I don’t like the very small remote , sound is not not as loud as my old tv. I ordered a sound bar hope that helps.

Purchased 2 Samsung TV’s recently, as Seniors we have difficulty with maneuvering thru the channels with a remote without numbers to know how to operate it! Other than that we like them!

Great TV not great for elderly

Television is great, but I bought for my elderly mother, and it is not user friendly for the elderly, too many options when she turns it on gets confusing and difficult for her to get back to her direct tv.

I bought this TV four months ago. I love it. Has a lot of extras in there but it’s a little bit hard for people to get used to it and learn how to get all the apps and things going other than that. Great TV great picture great quality.
