Great TV

Purchased this TV because my previous one quit on me. Was in between pay periods and right after Christmas money was tight, so needed it cheap. Saw this TV and the price was right for a decent sized unit. Really wasnt expecting much because it was so cheap but honestly one of the best purchases I've ever made. Nice looking Tv with an amazingly easy set up. I definitely recommend

Best I have ever seen

I wasn't thinking the difference in picture quality going to 4K TV would mean much. But with this TV it was. Right out of the box it's the best I've ever seen. I recently watched Leave it to Beaver. They must've remastered the film because I never seen black and white look this good. Another movie I checked out was Back To The Future. I could not believe how clear the picture was and how three dimensional. I have nothing at all negatives to say about this TV. And I can tell you I have bought a lot of tv's in my lifetime. I was the type to always be updating my TV. I hesitated because I thought I'd never really seen a bad LED TV. But no this one was a giant leaf forward. My last T V was seven years old and I figured it was time for a change. One more thing I'm not paying any extra for 4G Internet service and I don't think I will. It can't look any better than this.

no voice command

i purchased this tv last week. i did not realize that it does not support voice command. so if you want voice command DO NOT purchase this tv. i tried to contact samsung support several times. i was on hold for a long time and then it would disconnect. this happened multiple times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the DU6900 TV, and I'm sorry for any confusion about voice assistants. Voice control is not built in, but the DU6900 TV does support voice assistants like Alexa when paired through the Smartthings App.
Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants.

Lousy

had a lousy picture, had to change or shut down many factory settings, picture looked phoney, really bad on old movies. can't see picture from the side, almost completly washed out, unless you sit directly in front of it. remote is crappy, too small, can't see anything on it, no number pad to change chanels, really a pain in the behind compared to the 2015 samsung i have

I see that you’ve already tried adjusting your image, but I did want to share the following adjustments with you, just in case:
Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
You can also go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.

I love my TV!

I purchased this TV about 3 weeks ago, and I am very happy with my purchase. The size is great for my bedroom. The picture is phenomenal and the amenities are terrific. I really appreciate the ease in which I can go from streaming back to. my cable choices.

An Absolutely Phenomenal TV

I bought 2 of these tv’s a month ago, and when I tell you I did no previous research on these tv’s , I did none! I got home and got them both mounted and immediately after the initial setup up , I was absolutely blown away by everything this tv is capable of doing! I was even more impressed that you can actually game on the tv WITHOUT having a console , it’s absolutely mind blowing !!!
