Small Remote!!

I love everything about this TV, Except 1 thing!! The Remote!! Why do you make it so small?????? What is the reasoning behind a small remote? It can't be to save space on the coffee table. So why have a remote that is so small that you are going to hit the wrong button? Not to mention,the terrible placement of the mute button.

I purchased this as a gift for my father, his LG went to a heavy blue tint. It was a perfect fit into his location, the adjustable height legs made it so. Image is very clean and sharp. My parents commented how it made their old westerns look modern.

Does not load Amazon

After a month of you, it would stop loading the Amazon prime. I have to unplug and restart the television every time so it will load the streaming services. Have not had a chance to call Samsung yet about it, but hopefully there will be a fix or replacement. I will update my review on the problem is addressed other than that it’s a good sound and picture quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,

To help resolve the issue with the Prime Video app, I recommend running a cold reboot on your TV. There are two ways to do this:

1) Using the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.
2) Using the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.

Next, I recommend ensuring the app is up to date by going to “Apps” on your Smart TV and selecting “Settings” from the top right corner. Next, select the Prime Video app and select "Update," if available. If the issue persists or if there is no Update available, we will try deleting and reinstalling the app. To do so, navigate to “Apps” on your Smart TV and select “Settings” from the top right corner. Next, select the app. Finally, select Delete, and select Delete again to confirm.

Then we will reinstall the app by returning to “Apps” on your Smart TV and selecting “Settings” from the top right corner. Click on “Prime Video” and then select “Reinstall.”

Also, please ensure you are running the latest Firmware update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

Not completely happy

I don’t like how my TV listens and talk back to me and I didn’t ask it anything I can ask my wife. If do you know what Paul’s last name is and the TV say I don’t understand.

The DU6900 does not have voice assistants built in, but they do work with external voice assistants like Alexa. You can connect them to your existing Alexa device to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more. Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants.

If you have an external voice assistant connected to your DU6900 TV, I would recommend configuring the sensitivity settings.
