SUPER FAST APPLICATIONS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got the Samsung DU6900 and I’m pretty happy with it. The picture is sharp and colors look really nice, especially for a budget 4K TV. It’s great for streaming and movies, and the built-in apps run smoothly. Setup was quick, and the remote is super simple to use. It’s not amazing in really dark scenes, and the picture fades a bit from the sides, but overall, great value for the price.

And don't get me started on the ease of use. I am able to navigate and setup my tv with confidence and no time flat. More time for entertainment and relaxing.

Middle road tv but great for price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a ton of features or connections if you are a tv-holic or in to the best of features. With that said, if you need a tv that is easy to use, has all of the basic smart features, and is very cheap...then this would be a great pick in my opinion!

Tv color display messed up

My color display was great at first but after a few months the black colors on the tv started to look grey. I tried to adjust the display in settings but that didn’t help

It’s unfortunate to hear you’re not fully satisfied with your TV’s image quality. Below are a few settings that I recommend adjusting:
Go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1) Standard: Default mode suitable for general viewing environments. 2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience. 3) Movie: Most suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room. 4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. 5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine-tune your image.

YouTube issues

TV was great for about 4 months, then the You tube channel lost its initial screen. It comes up, but you cant see the videos.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To help resolve the issue with the YouTube app, I recommend running a cold reboot on your TV. There are two ways to do this:
1) Using the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds. 2) Using the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
Next, I recommend ensuring the Youtube app is up to date by going to “Apps” on your Smart TV and selecting “Settings” from the top right corner. Next, select the YouTube app and select "Update," if available. If the issue persists or if there is no Update available, we will try deleting and reinstalling the YouTube app. To do so, navigate to “Apps” on your Smart TV and select “Settings” from the top right corner. Next, select the app. Finally, select Delete, and select Delete again to confirm.
Then we will reinstall the app by returning to “Apps” on your Smart TV and selecting “Settings” from the top right corner. Click on “Youtube” and then select “Reinstall.”
Also, please ensure you are running the latest Firmware update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
