Disappointed

We've had our Samsung TV three years now. I was excited to try their TV as I've always purchased Sony through the years and only buy Samsung phones. Disappointment with this product is an understatement. Problem one started a while ago where the picture was blurry for about a minute but eventually cleared up. Problem two was that the picture would zoom in without provocation forcing you to shut the TV and restart it. The latest problem was a vertical line of black pixels on the left of the screen. After an exhausting several calls to Samsung help center, I was told there was nothing they could do but would give me an extended warranty on a new set. To spend more money after just three years put a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe I'll just go back to Sony. Still loves your cell phones!

Extremely Poor Volume

Our Samsung TV picture is good, thus the two stars, however the sound quality is AWFUL!!! We have to turn up the volume until it’s almost at max and many times I’ll put my AirPods in for better volume. So so unfortunate as now we have to spend additional dollars for a volume boost bar and speakers so this purchase was no deal at all!!!

If the sound is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal preferences.
• Sound Modes may better meet your personal preferences. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode, or Expert Settings to fine-tune and customize your sound.
• Adaptive Sound will also further optimize sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings.

Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume. There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience.
1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. 2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound. 3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.
Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.
