This is the worst phone I've ever had

This is the worst phone I've ever had. Here are the biggest issues: 1. The camera. The wide angle lens only focuses in the center then blurs out to the edges, so it's impossible to take a focused image at 1x or 2x. It's not something you'll notice if you're taking pictures of larger objects, but you will with finer details like text. You can't take pictures of documents without 3/4 of the text being blurry. 2. Push notifications. The phone fails to deliver notifications. Gmail for example, I have it set to stay synced and push notifs immediately, but I only get notifications once every 8 hours or so. I get notifs for YouTube live streams 2 days after the stream ended. 3. The battery. There is some kind of issue with the software or firmware for the charging port. It is extremely finicky with USB-C chargers, sometimes it refuses to charge at all, or will only slow charge. It will only charge with maybe 1 out of every 10 chargers I try. No issue with my chargers, they work fine with my other Samsung devices. Samsung refuses to do anything about it since there's nothing physically wrong with the port. You can wireless charge, but it's slow and causes the phone to overheat, and once it gets hot, it stops charging. You have to charge in 10 minutes increments, letting it cool down in between. It takes hours to fully charge the phone. 4. Keyboard / text entry. I have an issue where when entering text in a text box, the keyboard appears over the box, so you can't see the text being entered. I believe this is a bug with the phone's keyboard software itself, rather than specific apps, because it happens across multiple apps such as Instagram, YouTube, Chrome, Tik Tok, and I don't have this issue on other devices. 5. Overheating. The phone gets very hot, very easily. Even if I have battery saver mode turned on to throttle performance, just watching YouTube or having Android Auto running will cause the phone to overheat. This further complicates the charging issue, since the phone won't charge when it's overheating, and it overheats easily, it's difficult to keep it charged. The nice things I will say about it though, I love the size of this phone. That's why I bought it, it's one of the smallest phones on the market. I have small hands and find 7" phones hard to use. The form factor of this phone is great. The display is beautiful. I love the adaptive color correction, where it makes the display warmer or cooler automatically, depending on the lighting of the room you're in. It's hard to go back to devices that don't have that option after getting used to it. However, the positive aspects aren't enough to counteract the daily frustration of not being able to charge my phone or receive timely notifications or take clear pictures. This will likely be my last Samsung device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
