Great Phone, But Secure Folder Transfer Failed
on August 2, 2025
Posted by: Sumguyiguess
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m giving the Galaxy S25 3 stars mainly due to major issues transferring data from my old S22, especially with Secure Folder. I relied heavily on this feature for storing sensitive files, but after the upgrade, I found out that the encrypted data couldn't be read on the S25. The system just labeled everything as incompatible. I tried using an external USB drive as suggested in a Galaxy AI forum and followed a YouTube tutorial to manually transfer app data. Unfortunately, that made things worse—most files were unreadable and now appear as junk files on my new device.
Even worse, I can’t delete those unusable files without doing a full factory reset. I ended up manually copying individual files from the drive to the new phone instead of using app-level transfers, but it was a tedious process. Now I have nearly 10GB of unusable storage filled with corrupted files. Galaxy AI has some amazing features, but Samsung really needs to improve compatibility and secure data transfer options between Galaxy devices.

How Samsung Powers my Day
on August 4, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Samsung device is my daily powerhouse. I use it to stream music while working, manage my calendar, and take video calls — all seamlessly. The camera is a favorite feature — capturing high-quality photos for both work and personal memories. I also rely on it for fitness tracking during workouts and staying connected with my family overseas. The battery life and multitasking capabilities make a huge difference in my productivity and peace of mind. I can’t wait to see what the Galaxy S25 brings to elevate my routine even more! Galaxy AI

My opinion
on August 4, 2025
Posted by: zanpaku3
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From my experience of having a Galaxy S25 for 2-3 months, I say that it works great. The compact size makes it fit easily in my pocket, lessening the chance that it falls out due to not going in properly. Depending on my usage, the battery tends to last between 1 and 2 days before I need to charge it.
The main flaw I have seen with it is a common thing with many phones nowadays. That it does not have a separate auxiliary cord slot for wired headphones/ear buds, which is my preference. If I want to use wired ear buds or headphones, I need to get a separate adapter for it. It also did not come with an adapter for the charging cord that came with it, which is a problem when both ends are the same instead of one being a USB adaptor.

Great phone with cool AI that'll continue to grow
on August 4, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded to S25 from a Pixel 8 Pro. Galaxy AI is by far better for photos.
First, lets review the good: - Galaxy AI photo edits are on device. This means it is faster. Pixel AI is processed on the cloud and takes forever, so much that the features often didn't work. I gave up trying most of the time.
However, I'm a frequent traveler and I wish Samsung would support more languages: - the translation features don't support very regional European languages (Finnic-Uralic, Baltic, most Nordic...) - live subtitles, similar to Pixel. Sometimes travel advice and media in certain countries are not offered in English.
Nonetheless, the phone itself is beautiful. Almost everyone compliment the phone's red color, design, and premium build. I would add a photo but my phone is my camera...
The S25's smaller form factor also makes it easy to handle. This size is slowly disappearing, so happy to have it.
If you like specific workflows, S25 is better than any other phone. You can configure the phone to exactly how you use things. Something annoys you? Theres a GoodLock module to fix it.
For example: - I changed how switching apps work (to always select last used app) - I added custom quick settings to not turn off my screen for 30min while I have a recipe loaded. - I have a video (not a live wallpaper) of my family set as my background, reliving the memory everytime I use my phone.
In conclusion: this is by far the best phone on the market today.

Where do I begin....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the phone itself is sleek and seems well built. Also durable which is good because I can bs tough on phones. The operating speed is pretty good as well, cant really complain about that. But thats about where the compliments end. Autocorrect only works a fraction of the time. When it does work it only picks up words that you don't want to correct and when you expect it to pick up words that it should correct it doesn't. Voice to text or talk to text whatever it's referred to as, doesn't pick up anybody with any type of speech impediment. if you don't clearly enunciate your words it will make up words it seems. Keyboard is super small so anybody with just average size hands you're going to double Press buttons you're going to try to backspace and you're going to hit other keys which is severely aggravating to say the least. You can't dim the screen dark enough which is a problem for when you're driving at night and you need to look at your screen for save maps or directions. Touch sensitivity is sporadic at best on some screens it's super sensitive on some others it's not. half the time it won't respond to the buttons I'm pushing until I'm more or less mash on it. Also if I'm trying to swipe left or right it won't respond left or right, it'll go up or down. If you try to pull the side tab it won't respond unless I get right on it same thing with the wallet shortcut, overall the touch sensitivity needs major work. Galaxy AI is about the only thing that's cool on this phone.
