Spent the whole first week trying to turn off all the terrible forced ai. There needs to be an option to turn it all off and it shouldn't be that complicated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy. We are glad to hear you’re enjoying the phone and that it’s working well for you. We understand that battery life is important, and usage patterns or settings can sometimes affect how long it lasts between charges. We can share some tips to help extend your battery life, or we can check if a software update or battery optimization setting might improve performance.
Here are few tips you can try from your end check if it helps with the device battery:
1.Adjust Brightness: Lower the screen brightness to around 50% and disable Adaptive Brightness to prevent automatic increases in brightness that can drain the battery. 2.Screen Timeout: Set a shorter screen timeout duration to reduce the time the display stays on when not in use. 3.Dark Mode: Enable Dark Mode, which is more battery-efficient on AMOLED screens, helping to save power
4. Battery Protection Modes: Use the Galaxy S25’s Battery settings to enable protection modes that limit overcharging. Options include Basic Protection (avoiding full 100% charges) and Adaptive Protection (charging to 80% while asleep). 5.Power Saving Mode: Activate Power Saving Mode when your battery is low. This feature limits background activity and reduces performance to extend battery life
6.Limit Background Activity: Review which apps are consuming the most battery by going to Settings > Battery > Battery Usage. Limit background activity for apps that are not frequently used. 7.Update Apps: Ensure all apps and the operating system are updated to the latest versions, as updates often include optimizations that can improve battery performance. 8.Disable Unnecessary Features: Turn off location services, background data, and features like Always-On Display when not needed to conserve battery life.
9.Follow the 20-80% Rule: For long-term battery health, try to keep your battery charge between 20% and 80%. Occasionally charging to 100% is fine, but frequent deep discharges can reduce battery lifespan. By implementing these strategies, you can significantly enhance the battery life of your Samsung Galaxy S25, ensuring it lasts longer between charges while maintaining optimal performance
There are some annoying things but overall a pretty good product. I can't customize text tones anymore. I also don't like that what comes on the screen as a drop down menu depends on what part of the screen you scroll down on.
