- Processor: The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy is powerful, yes—but the real-world gains over the S24’s Gen 3 chip are marginal at best. Benchmarks show slight improvements, but everyday usage feels nearly identical
- RAM & Storage: Still capped at 8GB for the base model, and 128GB storage remains the default in many regions. In 2025, that feels stingy.
- Thermals: Sustained performance suffers under load. Throttling kicks in during extended gaming or 8K video recording, especially on the ultra-thin Edge variant

First phone I really love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a Galaxy S10e. I really like a smaller phone so this one fit the bill. There are not that many small ones out there. I finally have a phone where my fingerprint works. One of the things I found helpful is to follow some of the tips and tricks and first things to do from youTube videos. I have been playing around with the Galaxy AI and it's been fun but I can tell that I haven't unlocked all its features yet. The one thing that I miss the most is expandable memory . I was shocked that I couldn't bring my SD card over.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this device for a variety of different things including gaming and even taking videos/pictures. Galaxy AI has helped in so many areas by fixing a blur or even something that shouldn't be in the picture. This newer feature is so beneficial but the only thing I would change is the watermark. Throughout my usage of this device I have never once had an issue with gaming performance or lag. I use this device everyday and could not imagine life without it.
