Working very well

As far as I tell it's working perfectly, my only draw back is the backlight. When designing this you should have just off , on, and brightness. It's annoying when reading it while system is being charged with it flashing. Sure it can be turned off. But you shouldn't have to. There is plenty of other indicators that the system is changing, the +amps and the directional Ah symbol of charge and discharge. Other then that , it's helping me with knowing my charge and discharge rate even when I am using power from my system. Rv system 300 watt currently, but increasing it soon., battery type 3 8D lead acid also going to increase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had very high expectations, but the display shows me in a very different list of data from what I saw in all the videos.... It looks like another model and I can't find information for this model
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the first pass this monitor is a good product. I do have a couple of items that need some attention. First, it would be nice if the shunt was able to be mounted and Second, once the monitor has been installed and configured it doesn't seem to light up all the time when trying to view when it is dark.

Works great! Be sure to connect all negative device and chassis ground wires to P- side of the shunt. Only the battery negative wires should connect to the B- side.
Only complaint is the flashing backlight whenever the battery is charging, including float mode when the trickle charge is active. The backlight can be turned off completely. There are arrows that point up or down depending on whether charging or discharging. The mounting style is cheap and uses simple tabs that snap into the opening.
The shunt is rated 75mV @500A. I have another Amp meter (made for a 75mV @500A external shunt) attached to the same shunt, instead of installing a 2nd shunt which would cause more voltage drop. Attaching a parallel Amp meter will ONLY work if it's designed to use an external shunt rated for 75mV @500A. I protected the shunt inside heavy clear heat shrink.
Be sure to set the High V - full voltage, to the absorption setting of the charger. I'm using this meter with Qty 5, 13V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries. The batteries are fully charged almost exactly when the battery voltage reaches the absorption setting of 14.4V and the meter resets to 100% (if not already displaying 100% during the charge cycle).
The product does everything as advertised, although the instructions could definitely use some work. There's a lot of abbreviations and things that they don't explain well that leave you scratching your head (and I'm an electrician). So if I can't understand it without a phone call to Renogy, that tells me that they need to rewrite the booklet that came with it. Overall, the product works great though.
Battery Monitor makes the difference, as it certainly appears more accurate than the charge controller, with respect to battery availability, at any given time.
I wanted to know how to connect 2 batteries to the battery monitor. And after I connect them how to read each battery. After this I wanted to know how to input battery information (AH, and Capacity…. My boat has a simple spring loaded switch … rest on all, toggle to battery 1 and toggle back to battery 2 … let go and it reads both… Still how would this monitor read “Both” and what would be the monitor inputs to be accurate.
I wish it had mounting tabs instead of the pressure fit. We are installing all components now, so I can't talk about functionality yet, but we are concerned about using it in the RV and road vibrations. Wish there was an optional mounting bracket.
