I bought this along with a gel hybrid 100ah battery. Huge improvement! I was pulling in 8-10amps during sunny conditions. I could run my cpap and in the morning, as long as the sun was up before I was, I woke to a full battery. I could run my little 400w inverter to power my laptop or rv with no troubles.

Solid unit. Great for camping. Stores nicely.

Bought this a couple weeks ago. Just finished an 8 day RV trip, using it every day. Kept the batteries up nicely while using vent fans, lights, water pump, and power awning. Never touched the generator. The suitcase kept my twin batteries crisp all the time.
Instructions need a little work on clarifying which connectors go where, and to be sure to UNPLUG the panel from the controller before hooking to the battery. Not being used to solar, the terminology was slightly confusing, with a big downside if not done right.

Great Power Option for my RV

I previously (Sept 2020) bought two of these portable Renogy 200 watt suitcase panels, two 100 amp Lithium batteries a 1500 watt pure sine wave inverter for my 5th wheel. I chose these portable panels to allow parking the RV in the shade and place the panels in the sun with the additional benefit of relocating the panels as the sun moves to maintain the best solar efficiency (easier to move than the RV). Prior to purchase I knew the panels would weigh about the same as a 5 gal can of gas, so I can't give a negative comment on the weight if properly researched. I have since bought another Renogy 200 watt suitcase and two additional Lithium batteries (December2020). To provide extended distance for these panels from the RV, I bought some 2 gauge AWG and 4 gauge AWG wire for a 30' extension (to minimize electrical line loss). I get up to 12 amp per solar suitcase = 36 amp charge rate. I can now connect a 30 amp, 120 v extension cord from my inverter into the RV shore power connection to power all the RV 120 v receptacles. This allows me to operate everything in the RV except my 2 A/C units (my onboard 5.5 kw generator takes care of this infrequent option). I can not justify all this from a cost perspective, but the convenience of this when dry camping is extremely enjoyable.

It would have been nice to be able to get this unit without the controller since I didn't need it, but it was easy to bypass and remove. This panel works great and I appreciate the well designed storage cover. Highly recommended!

Customer Support Still Has Not Improved

I bought the 200 Watt 12 Volt Monocrystalline Foldable Solar Suitcase. Packaging a little beat up upon delivery but no holes in box. Took out and checked it out and noticed that the Charge Controller was hanging onto 2 bolt/nuts. Called customer support and didnt have to wait long to talk to someone. Told them to send me the bolts/nuts and I would secure the controller. Had an email back and sent them pictures. That was the extent of there customer support. received an invite to reveiw my new panel and here we are. I also can't get them to recognize the items I've bought from them in my account. I haven't given up yet. Sure wish they'd improve there support. That's the only issue I have with them. This is my second solar suitcase.
