Great Lightweight Panel

We bought 3 of these panels a few ago and installed them last week on a caravan roof. The panels worked well outputting approx 30 amps total and while that was in the middle of the day we are almost at the winter solstice, the van was on a driveway which angled away from the sun and there was some very super light cloud -so it was still quite significantly far from optimum. So we were happy with the performance. My only criticism of these panels is the connection leads are way to short - one is long and one is short making paralleling the connections extremely difficult. Both leads should be minimum 800-900mm or 36" as most other panels have. The manufacturer has assumed that the panels will be series in a certain configuration as per a house installation and there is no flexibility to do otherwise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I really like the panels. The only feedback would to have the grommets all installed in the exactly same places so the panel mounts would be interchangeable.

Great panel for our boat

Our 175 W flex panel replaced two 100 W rigid panels. The rigid panels are durable, but heavy and had to be removed and stowed every time we took the boat out. The 175 W panel is very light, and due to its dimensions I was able to mount it on the cabin roof so it doesn't even need to be stowed first. It keeps our bank of two 98Ah AGM batteries full and happy.
Just what we needed! It charges very quickly and we found a creative location to store it in our 1997 WV Eurovan Camper. When we park where the windshield is facing the sun, we lay the panel across the windshield. This solar panel gives our lithium batteries more than enough charge to run our refrigerator, lights and USB ports when we are not plugged into electricity.
Excellent flexible solar panels. I attached to the rooftop of my Chevy cargo van. With the ribs on the rooftop, I purchased 1/4" sheet corkboard and trimmed down to 4" planks an glued into the grooves. This gave me a continuous flat surface to mount the panels. This works perfect!
I purchased a MC4 Solar to 8MM adapter and extension cable to connect with my Goal Zero 500x.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We do a lot of boondocking with a travel trialer which has a domed roof and vents, skylight, AC, etc. down the center. I purchased one of these panels and put it on one side of the roof. If we can park with that side facing south, even in partial shade, it keeps our standard batteries charged for days, even on colder trips. This one is for the other side of the trailer. Couldn't be happier with this product
