Extreme range and connection improvement over BT-1

Using the BT-2 with the Rover Elite 20A. I previously had the BT-1 with the Renogy Wanderer Li 30A. You had to be close to the BT-1 to maintain a communication stream. But with the BT-2, I was able to be on the other side of my house and on a different floor and still was able to link the Renogy app with the BT-2. Very satisfying not having to walk back to make a connection like the BT-1.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Saw the other reviews and had to post that this works as advertised. Just installed it on battery. Buying another one for DC to DC charger. I had no problem finding and downloading the app to Apple phone. Had no problem reading my lithium battery bank via the app. It was all super easy to install, so it is bewildering the other reviews posted to the contrary.

I have this plugged into my Renogy lithium phosphate batterie’s “UP” port, and I have an Ethernet cable plugged between the batterie’s “Link” port and my Rover Elite’s port.
I also have a hub that allows me to plug in more devices and connect them to one BT module, but for now it is unnecessary with my setup, but have used it before learning that the battery has a built in hub.
The iPhone app could use some more help, but Renogy seems to be actively working on this front.
The only thing to look out for is to make sure the device you are thinking of using this on is compatible, as Renogy also has an older BT-1 module that speaks a different protocol to those devices.
Functional piece of equipment. I would have preferred a much shorter cable or even just an RS-485 port so I could plug my own cable in. I can't imagine a use case in which I would need 10 feet of cable for a bluetooth module.
I love this item I mos definitely recommend this item, but the 12v 20A portable charger from renogy I will not recommend at all it gets so dam hot to the touch,
