Expected better

When ordering I asked if anything additional was needed, answer NO. But there is no adhesive or way to attach. I ended up using Dicor sealant. I also wanted to affix with screws however edge flange is so narrow almost impossible to drill and screw. Making edge wider and clearly stating additional materials needed would benefit new customers. However product works well for application.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Super simple installation 1. Drill hole in room (1967 aluminum step van) 2. Glued cable entry to roof 3. Ran cables to desired placement adjusted fittings
I was a little concerned that it didnt need to be screwed down. But once the 3m windoweld cured, it won't going anywhere.... ever.

I used this item to install the cables through the camper roof. This is the ideal way to bring the cables from the panels to the solar controller. Clean and efficient.

Needs screw holes for 5 stars

This product is well made and works great but it's primarily designed to be used on horizontal surfaces (a roof) and secured with a adhesive/sealant. I did not notice the outer shell has no provisions for screw holes and the edges are fairly thin. They are grooved on the underside which allows the adhesive/sealant to bond better but it doesn't help much if you want to screw or bolt it down. I plan to install this vertically so not sure what I will do. Overall a good value for the price.
