I purchased this 700W inverter to operate a 65W exhaust fan in my greenhouse. It's connected to a (Renogy) 12V 100AH Gel battery being charged by 400W of solar. Note: The fan would not operate with my original 400W inverter, probably because it wasn't a pure sine wave.
Installed in my Class C RV. Also installed 2 Renogy flexible solar panels Now have power to run the new Starlink 2 package to keep in touch with family, making reservations, checking weather etc. Working great.
I installed this on my 2007 airstream trailer to power my starlink satellite WiFi when boondocking. Works great with my 4-100 watt renogy solar panels. Can run it 24/7 without draining the batteries and powerful enough to run small power tools if needed
I bought this item to support a 200w solar panel for my barn. It works great and provides lighting i need. I had previously used the solar panel for my small travel trailer which had it own inverter. The only reason i didn't give this item 5 stars is that the remote controls both outlets, therefore if you plug in two separate electrical items they both will shut off or on. I want to be able to control only one of the outlets with the remote, not both. I had to buy a separate remote controlled electrical cord in order to achieve my goal. The ad for this item doesn't mention that.
We purchased this inverter to use to power a modem and charge a laptop in a remote Baja location. It worked beautifully! Just be sure to follow directions carefully to insure the unit has air flow around it.
