This dc to dc battery charger is exactly what my overlanding 12v system needed. It has provided a stable and full charge to my house battery consistently since I installed it. Having the knowledge that if left on it will maintain as well makes it a no brainer. Highly recommend and stand by this product.

20 Amp DC-DC Charger for Marine Application

I haven't installed yet, but plan on using this to go from our house bank which is normally kept fully charged via solar, to the engine starter battery. I know this is backwards to many applications, but we are at anchor for long periods and need to keep the engine starter battery topped up, while 650 watts of solar keep the house bank full. Great shipping and instructions from Renogy etc. But, in my application, the wiring to the engine starter switch is applicable. Renogy should provide some guidance as to what to do to go from a house bank to another bank. If this works as planned, I intend to get a second unit to also go from the house bank to the windlass battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome unit. Installed in a weekend. Puts out 40 amps very happy! Charges two 6v in series in about two hours from 50%.

I seems to work fine. Only had it on for 10 minutes.
The manuel is poorly written. The fan seems noisy with a high pitched whine. The hook up for the truck ignition is difficult to figure out. You should have a better connection for that. Try using US wire sizes. When I got it hooked up and running it put out exactly 20 amps. I think I will be happy with it.

I like this item I had issues with it I actually blew a fuse I actually opened the device up and removed the blown fuse and replace it I didn't return it like I started to
