Make or modify cables with these easy to use tools. I bought a Rover charge controller that I wanted closer to the battery instead of on the solar panel. I made new cables and modified some existing ones to custom fit all my cable connections. Easy peezy, done and dusted project…

As I clicked the extension cord into the existing line I remembered what a friend told me. She said it was almost impossible to get the linkage apart and she was right. I immediately ordered the tool which I did need to get the cords apart. It worked as hoped and expected. Just a good one to have on hand.

Solar panels were exactly as described in data sheets. Power output is per spec. 4x100W panels on a short wheelbase Sprinter is a bit challenging but was do-able.

Yeah, you can "get away with" not having this tool but why? You might have some logical excuse if the tool was expensive. In this case there is no excuse.

Received it and did the inventory. Everything looked good. Took me about 2 1/2 days to completely install. I made sure I sent slow and understood all of the instructions. Easy to install and worked great the first time I turned it on. Oh yea it was on a 40 ft. Motorhome.

It is very handy. However, I found it is not working well with Renogy's fuse that comes with premium kit.
