Bought this for my first RV soalr set up but just recently picked up the Rover 40 amp controller since I decided to add some more solar array. I kept this 30 amp Rover and I am using it for a 200 watt solar suitcase that I am making. The Rovers seem to be a decent controller and good pricing. Watch for the Renogy sales!

It was easy to install, although the 6" of clearances made it difficult to find a place to mount this controller. The instruction manual doesn't explain the symbols on the screen so I am unable to interpret the data. The screen is hard to read. I am looking into buying a rs232 to USB cable so I can connect to a computer so I can read the data.

The controller works fine.
But the Bluetooth app can be improved:
- After 1 hour connection lost
- There is no option to download the data to the laptop. I like to put it in Excel, for making a graph.

Easy to install. I do wish the BT-1 Bluetooth unit I bought that is compatible with the controller had a longer range however.
