Poor quality locking mechanism, not sturdy at all

I recently purchased this and although at first I was very disappointed with the colour (very brown, looks black/espresso in the picture) I decided to set it up and keep it. It is very unsteady especially for the price, and now that I’ve locked it I cannot get it unlocked. Very poor quality locking mechanism! Overall, very disappointed in this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
