Poor quality: Broke during assembly

Sadly, this broke during assembly, while turning the vertical bar to attach the shelves. The shelves themselves are sturdy. The two vertical bars (each comes in 2 pieces that need to be attached to become a full bar) are extremely fragile and break/crack very easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
