Perfect for poles

I use this hook to hang a tree saw and window washer, both of which are tall and slender. No other hook fits because they are too wide. As long as there is a stop on the tool itself, this hook works perfectly. Two fewer things to stand against the wall and rest on the floor.

Great Design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recently got the S Hook and I love it! It is so versatile. I am able to use it for multiply items I have in my shed. The shape allows you to be able to hold anything at practically an size or if it is an odd shape. For example, I have a snow shovel that is odd shaped and sticks out from the wall a bit and it holds it great where some of the other hooks would not do as well. Definitely a great buy and I will be buying a few more for my set up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gladiator S-Hook is an excellent addition to the wall of hanging stuff. It makes it easy to stash anything pole-shaped on the wall, out of the corner and off the floor. It uses gravity to lock the tool and hold it in place. Solid!

Simple and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As part of organizing the clutter in my garage I wanted a flexible system that can change as my organization needs change but I want it to be a tough system that can hold up to heavy use and rough handling. The S hook is a great part of this system, it's very tough and can be used for lots of different purposes.

Great S-Hook

It comes with a very interesting design pivoting at one leg which can rotate up and down.I can find many uses for it, such as holding my electronic trimmer or long handle tool without hanging on any parts.

The "S" stands for "Slide"

I completely agree with the prior review of this item. The "S" should stand for "slide" since that is what any pole does when placed in this hook. It slowly slides to the floor or to a wider portion of the pole that prevents it from doing so. I've hung the tools at the widest part to prevent the sliding but this product needs to be carefully re-engineered. How is it that a company like Whirlpool does not field test these products. I don't understand how this made it out of the prototype stage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These S-hooks are a great idea, but they're unable to hold any tool in place due to the lack of tension/friction created. Ideally, these would hold brooms, extension rods, etc. by the handle so the wide portion of the tool can sit at any height, thus allowing you to stagger items close to one another. Unfortunately, any item I've tried to secure in these hooks will slowly slide down to the floor. The S-hooks either need to be lined with a rubberized material that holds better, or the hook needs to be redesigned to exert more friction on the item it is holding. As designed, these do not serve the purpose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Great Organization Solution!
