A game-changer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently renovated our kitchen and wanted to try a built-in microwave. In the past, we have had an over-the-range model and we assumed microwaves were simple enough that fancier, more expensive options wouldn’t be worth the extra money. Boy how wrong we were! In addition to the actual cooking being more consistent, powerful, and reliable, the basic functions of this model make us say “We love this microwave,” every time that we use it.
First of all, having a built-in microwave at counter countertop height is a game changer. We now realize how annoying and cumbersome it is to carry everything that needs to be microwaved to-and-from an over-the-range mounted microwave. Mounted at countertop height makes it SO EASY to get dishes/plates/bowls in and out.
It’s also super quiet. We can hardly tell it’s on when we’re using it.
The buttons have an awesome touch sensitivity and respond to very gentle tapping.
There’s a feature where you can customize the sounds the buttons and alarms make, too. We turned those off, so there’s no more annoying loud dings and beeps every time you press a button or when it finishes cooking.
It has a default setting with a child lock that requires you to press one extra button before opening it after cooking, but you can disable that feature (it tells you how in the instruction manual).
The trim kit needs to be purchased separately, which was a little bit of a bummer to see how expensive those trim kits are, but the finished product looks really nice and we feel was well worth it.
There are a ton of other features with this model that we haven’t explored yet, but we’re extremely pleased so far. Definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the huge rotation plate. The child safety can be disengaged. Good power, although not the strongest I have seen. Never used my convection oven so built in microwave only was a great replacement. Easy trim instructions.
