Hands free convenience. Great battery life!

Purchased after discussing with wife that it would be great if someone made a lock with facial recognition for when your hands are too full for a code or fingerprint recognition. Did some research and voila, this lock exists! Talk about timing!! Apparently, it's fairly new. After installation, I added both mine and my wife's faces, fingerprints, etc., and we were in business. It works great....most of the time. Now, for some of the issues...first, it would not allow me to add my daughter's face and prints a few weeks later. I tried everything, even sending the lock back for a replacement. It. Turns out to be a bug with the newer app which I'm not sure if they fixed because they haven't updated me as such. Second, because of that bug, I found another bug. After trying repeatedly to fix my daughter adding situation, I noticed she was in the teens of users on my lock even though she was only the third user. It seems every time I tried to add her it ticked off another user which doesn't reset with deletion of said user. I said something about this and they said they knew about it but wasn't something they would/could fix. Other than my OCD kicking in, this really doesn't cause an issue. Lastly, it seems direct sunlight interferes with the lock's ability to see a person's face. This is an issue when coming home from work as my house faces due west when the sun is setting. Not sure if anything can be done about this...maybe polarized lenses on the camera? The pros definitely outweigh the cons, though. It usually works pretty well, the battery life is great (lithium packs...not off the shelf alkalines), and they give you 2, so one can be charged before the other dies. Now, they just need to retrofit their prior locks with packs and I will be extremely happy. I would have rated this 4.5 stars if half stars were allowed. I can't rightly give it five stars because of the issues I have with it and I reserve that for something that is just extremely outstanding with no issues, so four stars it is.

Facial recognition works great without fail

had trouble with old lock not working as regards fingerprints being rejected, not reconised. Locky give me upgrade to new model with facial recognition and it works great, even if i have my sun glasses on and a hat, it still works with out fail.

This lock is simply SPECTACULAR, very easy to install and configure, its operation is excellent, very secure and the opening response with my and my wife's face is fast, I do not hesitate to recommend it.

Great lock and great service

The phone support during installation and most recently, following a software update, is expert. I appreciate Xion's exceptional guidance. Love this lock, which enables me to not have to bring a key along when leaving the house. It's also so easy to give access to the rest of my family.
