Visage is so close to perfect but lacks a camera

Having upgraded through generations of Lockly devices and repurposing them to other doors, the Visage is my fourth and is so close to perfect. From a functional perspective, 5 stars. Facial recognition works great. App is responsive. The one thing holding it back is the lack of internal camera. Sure, there are plenty of doorbell cameras on the market, but I have been waiting 2+ years for a Vision/Visage combo. Lockly, if you read these reviews, please make it.

love love the facial recognition as it works fabulously, hands full no problem walk to the door and it opens. It also comes with fingerprint reader, apple home access or just enter a code. Great product. Thank you Lockly

Love this lock!!!! I don’t have to use a key to unlock the door with bags of groceries it’s super convenient. I don’t have to worry about getting back in the house if I forget my key! So far it’s been awesome.

I have had this lock for a couple weeks and am impressed how quickly it recognizes my wife and I and unlocks. It was easy to install and connect to my wifi. I am happy with my purchase.

Great lock and excellent battery life

I bought this in September 2024. The battery life is excellent, It comes with two batteries and I didn't have to swap the first battery until just after a year of using and I use the auto lock function and door sensor. The facial recognition works great day or night and picks up best when your about 18-24 inches away and looking at the lock. The fingerprint takes about a second to recognize. I have not used the key code to unlock the door yet. FYI wait till the lock fully stops before trying to open the door after unlocking as it will cause the action to stop and still be locked. Only know this cause my wife is impatient and had this happen several times lol.

I have had this lock for over a year now. I love it. So nice opening the door without your hands . The facial recognition is amazing. SO convenient and helpful. I have them for all my doors now.
I just wish it was a little faster on the recognition but other than that it works well

Not just fanfare functional and useful

The idea of purchasing a keyless entry option stemmed from an occasional door lock jamming problem on a relatively newly built home resulting in a front door lockout incident and several difficult unlock incidents that wasn't corrected with a lock replacement. I purchased the Lockly Visage facial recognition device as a gift for my spouse who mentioned having keyless entry installed. The lock mechanism itself looks great in black and installed easily for me. It also earned its keep when I accidentally locked myself out of the house, entering the garage and leaving my keys and my phone inside. I simply opened the garage, walked around to the front door at 4:20 am and the door unlocked using facial recognition as easily as it does during daylight. I did notice however the intermittent lock stickiness issue had not resolved with a second replacement and this time noticed a pattern. The problem was intermittent and present during the hottest part of the day where sunlight directly shines on the lock, clueing me in to the likelihood there was a heat related expansion process causing the problem. I inspected the bolt hole after seeing there was no play in the bolt action when it was applied and noted there was some type of molding inside close enough to the bolt to press against following heat related expansion. I removed it and that resolved the intermittent interference problem so it was this lock that helped me resolve the problem that resulted in it being purchased. I have three recommendations; the lock should be quieter the gear churning internals give it a cheap sound, the sensor mechanism needs to be refined, the hall effect switch is decades behind inexpensive modern tech for the same job and the cover that shields the key pad that is attached with double sided tape and does not rest flush against the pad also gives it a cheap, rush to market appearance. I like the lock otherwise.
