Gladiator 4 x 8 Ceiling Shelving is a Winner!

Unit is exactly as portrayed, instructions suggest using a helper, but I got it installed myself by installing two eye hooks at each end of the base and hoisting the base up to the legs. Worked well. I would recommend this shelving to anyone.

I used the old adage, "Preparation and careful foundation-laying will make the job go easy." After carefully laying out the overhead brackets and measuring to ensure that the hanging portion of the bracket was correct, I got some friends to help lift the rack up there. It fit right in the first try! (I left brackets slightly loose to take up any give & take; I highly recommend doing this.) After tightening everything, the rack was very solid and gave me a lot of confidence that lit would work. Loading it up was easy; I am very happy with the typical Gladiator quality (I've got lots of other Gladiator products). I highly recommend this product to others. Just make sure to get that initial layout correct!
