Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package arrived in good order and was shipped without any external damage. The packing list was accurate and there were no parts missing or damaged. The directions were clear to assemble the Gearbox in a logical order. For my use on the open shelf area we are putting some of our external network drives that support our home business. It would be a good feature to add a hole (with a rubber grommet) in either the left or right corner to support power and network cables. Other than that I would definitely recommend this product.

Awesome cabinet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this a week ago. Easy to assemble and solidly built. The open shelf is perfect for battery chargers. The cord/wire grommet is great feature. Paired with 2 full door 3-shelf cabinets gets me all the storage I need. The Gladiator Garageworks line hasn’t disappointed!

USEFUL GEARBOX

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a perfect addition to our Gladiator garage units. It is meant to be hung on the wall, but sits well on our garage floor next to our other cabinets and has added needed storage. The cabinets are good looking and sturdy.

Ez Assembly instructions, but not ez fit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting P4 back panel to insert into 7 slots for exact fit was not easy. Had to push left bottom to install P5 panel. P4 still not completely flush, but acceptable. Doors don't align. Right door P7 appears to be fine. Left door P8 won't align even at highest point. Seems left door is not square at corners or something. Will not hang unless I can get new doors. Expensive for poor fitting pieces.

Easy assembly, but questionable craftmanship.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this cabinet, GAWG28KDYG00, and asked to complete an evaluation. I understand this is an economical model, but feel it does not compare to my other premier cabinets. The doors had issues with the layout of screw holes, along with the flexibility of the metal at the hinge areas. I like using the Gladiator cabinets, but I would give this one second thoughts about buying it. I personally like the premier series for the quality and confidence of lasting longer for the rugged usage. I open doors on my cabinets quite often and have not had an issue with the hinges, but this cabinet appears to use thinner metal with potential flexibility issues. I like the magnet stripe around the door edge, rather than the two magnets mounted on shelf. If I were not one to being using my cabinets on a regular basis, I may see using this style of cabinet for simple usage. This cabinet is affordable, easy to assemble and nice design layout for the novice handyman, not the avid craftsman. I like to keep items stored in cabinets to eliminate the clutter for workspace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frees up bench space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know exactly what this shelf is SUPPOSED to be for, but when I saw it I immediately thought BATTERY CHARGERS! Changing out one of my regular cabinets for this 3/4 height and moving the chargers bought me a good two square feet (which you can see I surely need). I wasn't certain what was the best answer for the extension cord, but in the end, I just drilled a hole, ran it inside the wall and sealed it with a foam plug. You can just see it below the battery directly under the right door handle. I rearranged the contents of the other cabinets, consolidating unused air-space, and in the end everything fit back in. I Velcro-ed down the charging stands. I didn't want to do that on the wood top but on metal it seemed OK. So now it's easier to use the batteries one-handed, I've got more counter space, storage is basically unaffected, and it looks good. What more could you want.

Great Cabinet addition to my garage

The 3/4 Door Gearbox is the smallest of my collection. It was easy to build and install using my gear tracks. As expected the cabinet is very high quality. The documentation was very easy to follow. Overall it is a great product!!!
