Great shelf liners

Sturdy sheets, wish they were rubberized.

They also feel really durable. They do not stay in place very well though. I was expecting them to be rubberized so that they would grip the shelving better.

Shelf Liner - So Simple, Yet So Helpful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one product I wish I was aware of years ago. With more than a couple of Gladiator Racks (four at last count) I use them to store a wide variety of items. The racks are great and can hold massive amounts of weight and large objects, but one constant issue is that while the wire grid is great support for flat bottom bins and large objects, any small objects, items with loose portions, or even items that have textured bottom surfaces could get caught on the wire grid, or fall through the spaces in the wire grid. I tried plywood once, but the effort to cut sheets of plywood and the cost of plywood was just not worth it. In addition, the plywood caused the surface to be above the lip of the rack, and things could slide or be pushed off the shelf accidentally, which was not ideal.
That is where these shelf liners are such a great addition to the Racks, and I highly recommend them for everyone. There are a number of benefits to using these liners.
First, the liners are sold in a flat package (2 per box), with each of the liners covering half of the shelf. This is great for two reasons. The liners are flat when shipped and stay perfectly flat when installed. No rolling out a roll that doesn't ever want to lay flat no matter how many things you place on the liner. Being half of the length of the shelf allows for more usable configurations. For my installation I installed them one above the other, allowing me to put small parts on one side of the rack, and keep my large bins on the other side of the rack. However, if you want them to cover the whole shelf, they will do so, perfectly lining up on their edge 1/2 way between a wire grid.
Second, I didn't have any issues with heavy objects on the liners. The wire grid/liner combination does a great job supporting heavy objects. As such, these liners are thin durable and tough.
Third, the liners fit perfectly within the dimensions of the rack, but are thin enough to still allow for a lip at the front and back, which helps prevent object from sliding off the shelf, or rolling off the shelf at the edge. That was always the problem with the plywood, as it was too thick and nothing would stop a rolling object at the edge.
Fourth, the liners are smooth and slightly slippery which aids in pushing or pulling heavier objects on the shelf. I prefer this to rubber which (i) wouldn't let things move as easy (ii) may deform slightly in the pattern of the grid, and (iii) wouldn't be as supportive.
This is a perfect, cost effective, yet simple solution for storing small items. Now so many more things can be efficiently installed on the rack shelves.

Heavy duty shelf liners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the shelf liners several weeks ago, but due to a lengthy illness I’ve just today opened the delivery box. These liners are extremely durable and almost indestructible. I’ve added them to my existing shelves and they handle any weight you can place on them. I have several engine parts and heavy pieces placed on the wire shelving and covered by these liners, and it makes moving the parts almost effortless. I highly recommend these shelf liners. Great product.

Wire Shelf Must Have
