Design flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aesthetically, our Bosch 500 series is simple and beautiful. However, there are a few significant design flaws that, for the price, I suggest should be corrected: 1. The very basic digital display panel is annoyingly touchy, e.g., just inadvertently bumping it with my hip as I walk by turns on some feature, 2. There is NO child safety lock or system on this model for either the digital display nor the knobs. I've made do to correct 1 and 2 using a magnetic covering over the digital display panel The knobs are also very touchy and am using child safety covers to prevent unintentionally turning the oven on. 3. Preheat seems to take longer than our previous nearly 30 year old oven. Hopefully, this oven will last a long time but we would not have purchased this model had we known about these concerning issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
