Hate the app you have to use

Love the speaker. Out performs any other speaker I’ve had.
Hate that you have to use an app that that takes for ever to connect, just to see what the battery life is. Why can’t it show in the control center battery indicator like any other accessory on my iPhone. Would have returned it right away if I knew that before using it for 2 days.

It is Everything You Would Expect from JBL & More!

We purchased this speaker to use on our golf cart! It is perfect. Fantastic sound quality. Plenty of volume, even traveling at 30mph. The handle works great for attaching it to our cart. I would highly recommend this product.

The next great Charge speaker from JBL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had 3 previous Charge speakers and to be honest, it's probably the best model series from JBL and it's not even close. The speaker is not too big, not too small, has a TON of battery life, can charge other speakers and phones, and still provide HUGE sound. Solid, tight bass, seriously big volume, it's portable but not obnoxiously large. It's the perfect speaker to sit between the Flip series and the Extreme. Pairing it took all of 5 seconds and it was ready to go. The handle is comfortable and easy to install and remove. I honestly couldn't be happier with the versatility of this speaker. My favorite JBL so far. Highly recommend!

Website specs do not tell the truth

The website is misleading. It states that this model has “auracast” and “partyboost” under the specifications. I first thought that maybe the partyboost must be done on the app, but it is not doable at all. JBL is really upsetting a lot of loyal customers by making each new speaker not compatible with a model from last year.
Sound is great and battery life is great. Only reason I am giving any stars.

Biker speaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love biking and was looking for a speaker that was not to big but had big sound. It fit on my bike perfectly in the bottle holder. Bluetooth connected quick and was prefect for bike app and playing music. Battery life well exceeded longevity for a 75 mile ride which takes 6 hours plus hours. The voice clarity made it very easy to hear app driven stats. Mid way through my ride it started a raining snow mix which tested the speakers ability to work in the weather. Overall this speaker checks all the boxes for my riding entertainment while on long rides. Great sound ,great battery life and no worry if the weather gets out of hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not good

Love the handle but that’s about where it ends. I had a charge 3 for YEARS. This new one doesn’t hold charge longer than 4-5 hours. Way to expensive to not perform well esp with their online description. Wouldn’t recommend.

Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL Charge 6 has up to 28 hours of battery life. The published playtime is the maximum battery time you will get when listening to background levels. Depending on the volume and the source material, the battery playtime will be reduced, much like a phone battery when you brighten the screen. Please charge the battery to 100% and play music without bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If it lasts close to the up-to playtime, this means the battery is working fine. If the issue remains, please contact our customer support for further assistance.

EXCEKENT for music in the shower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this charge 6i got this because i love reviewing jbl products this can even connect to my phone and charge it this is my GO TO ITEM when i need a smaller speaker for the shower i used to use a clip now i just yse this to listen to music in the shower

Strap Sucks but other then that its amazing

Speaker sounds great and is definitely louder and better quality then the 5. However my strap has already broken in about 2 weeks of use. All i have done with the strap is carry it in my hand holding the strap and one of the buttons that secures the strap has broken off making the strap pretty much useless unless you put it on one side but that kind of gets rid of the point of having an even handle to hold. Honest sorta disappointed in jbl because usually the products are so durable.
