Great sound custom design is flawed.

Bought this at the beginning of the month. Was very happy with the look and sound of the speaker. Unfortunately after less than a month with little use the design I picked is coming off the speaker. Pieces of the color on the fabric wrap are coming off and it’s only been used a few times sitting on a counter with no rough use. Will not be making a personalized speaker ever again. Now I have a speaker with white specks where there should be color.

Bad battery

Great look, awful battery

I bought this a few months ago and was so excited at first since I got a custom build that looks incredible! After a few months of use, the battery has worn down significantly and is absolutely terrible. I wish I had done a bit more research before taking the leap and buying something that won’t last as long.

Thanks for your feedback. The published battery life is up to 12 hours, but actual playtime depends on volume and source content. At background listening levels, you’ll get the maximum battery time, but as you increase volume or boost bass, playtime decreases—just like a phone battery drains faster with a brighter screen. Music with more bass also shortens battery life. It is possible that the battery is working correctly but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. For further assistance, please contact us.

Great audio

I got this as a gift and immediately got home and tried it out, Even though other people have complained, I listens to complex music and nothing happens, just great audio. Awesome speaker would recommend.

I got my speaker flip7 10 days ago, I’m impressed and so happy I purchased it, it’s amazing! I got the personalised one with my photo.. it s exactly as I expected the photo so clear so beautiful.. I also love the sound l, loud and clear as I love.. thank you JBL for making my first experience so good!

Personalized designs are a great new option

This is my 4th JBL purchase. They are convenient to have wherever you want a little music to enjoy. The Bluetooth connection is easy although I recommend changing the device name if you have more than one. My favorite feature of this latest purchase is the ability to personalize the design. You can be artistic and design with your own pattern and colors but even better you can select a favorite photo to make it a very personalized gift. The biggest challenge is working around the JBL logo but I managed to find two photos that I could manipulate to work around that logo. The editing features are pretty easy to work with if you keep playing with them. I managed to customize one for my son with a favorite picture of him celebrating for a football tailgate speaker. I made another with our fire department logo and name/call number for a unique recognition gift.
