The camera has excellent picture and it does everything it's suppose to. The reason I gave 4 stars is because you can hear the gears when the camera is following movement. The other thing is I was having issues connecting to my wi-fi. I had contacted the support team and they directed me by sending a YouTube link. The directions were not very clear after working on the connection for 3 hours that did not work. I finally decided to connect the camera to my router with an ethernet cable it only took 5 minutes to connect. This is definitely the easiest connection if your having a connection issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think the unit seems to be pretty good . I did have trouble setting my time zone . That may be something simple I missed. No big deal . As with other Defender products not making it web based aswell is a game changer . Setting this up would be so much easier .It's not fully installed as weather prevents a easy install . I will know more then .

An amazing security camera!

I purchased the Guard Pro PTZ 2K camera recently and it is AMAZING!! The camera gives me the comfort and peace of mind I was looking for along with a beautiful design. The camera is sleek and rotates to give me control of what I’m viewing. I don’t have to purchase a 2nd camera to see other areas of my driveway. The vision is so clear and the night vision is impeccable! I can literally see EVERYTHING! The siren and sensor light is perfect to scare off people and animals. The app is very easy to use and I love the 2-way talking feature. Overall, this was a great purchase and I will recommend to all of my friends!

Simple But Effective

I purchased the Defender Guard Pro Pt to monitor the front door and garage area. The camera is easy to use, has a clear image and the motion sensor light works great! It is easy to monitor the video and track what is happening when you’re not home via the Defender app. I chose this camera because I wanted something simple but effective. I would highly recommend.
