I bought this system 3 months ago and have enjoyed using it. The image is very clear and the 24/7 recording is great to capture any activities. The ability to zoom and audio are great features.

Excellent Security Camera System to protect your home. I have been a long time Defender systems user and love them. These model specifically has wide angle cameras and great night vision capabilities. the sensors work great and picks up movements immediately. If you are using for inside the home, i would recommend to turn off the lights for night vision. Access from app works nice and very quick/easy to setup. Audio feed, although works only from one camera at a time, is a good feature to have.

After several weeks of research I decided to replace my old battery powered security cameras with Defender. I was tired of changing batteries and also wanted to have a system that used POE, 24/7 recording, 4K resolution and color night vision. When I received the system I connected everything and proceeded with the set up. System is very easy to set up right out of the box. Then came the challenging part of running wires in the attic and dropping them down the wall to my office where I set up the NVR and Monitor. After getting the wiring pulled the camera mounting was easy. Once done , I connected everything in my office and has been working great. One recommendation would be that the design engineers think about upgrading the adjustment screws to a torx head high quality screw. The phillips head screws are subject to stripping so just a suggestion. App works great and is easy to use.

Love the security, yes you can view on a computer

Installed in a day and very happy with the video quality. I don't use any detections, it's something I'm still on the fence about but I'll probably work on setting it up soon. Also, there is a way to use the app on the computer though using the software Bluestacks, it's a phone emulator for your computer and it's free.

Can't connect to a real person

Bought a four camera eight port system, thinking I could add extra cameras later, Cant buy extra cameras. Defender lost a customer. I'll be upgrading with a different company that will sell extra cameras.
