Best camera ever

I got 2 Guard Pro cameras, one in the front yard and one in the basement to monitor my kids. It's amazing how clear they are both in picture quality and two-way audio. I want to say the sound is much better than the Amazon Alexa, I used to talk to my kids it feels like I am on a video call. The image quality in low light is a killer, you don't even have to open the white light in most cases.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Defender was recommended to me by a friend and I can’t tell you how much I love these cameras. Quality is awesome and I love the ease of using the cameras. Simple setup and everything is controlled through their app. And did I mention Color night vision!

The four cameras work good but the only issue is the range of the wifi (probably caused by our modem/router). They are installed at the 4 outside corners of our home and the 2 further points to our router comes in and out when played. We will have to invest in a Wifi Mesh system.

Solid materials and construction. Easy to get up and running. The more cameras you can bundle, the better your price. And I really like not being force to have a cloud account/storage for an extra fee.

Amazing Product!

I have never had a security system in my homes, however, I really felt like I needed to invest in one for my own ease of mind. The Guard Pro is a great product. It is a high quality product at a very reasonable price. The set up was simple, and it is easy to use. I feel so much more at ease knowing I have this system in place. Thank you!

We have been using Defender for many years, including 2 generations of the Defender Phoenix cameras with DVR. We decided we wanted to view and be alerted when away from home, but didn't want to pay monthly subscriptions. So we ordered the Guard Pro 2K WiFi. I kinda knew the Wi-Fi signal would be iffy on the house exterior, and a pre-installation test proved that. (I'm thinking this is the case with many WiFi cameras installed on the exterior of a home). So I bought a 50 foot Cat6 cable and ran it with the power cable and plugged it into our router.
A few days in, after us old folks figured out how to use the app, it seems to be working well. We get notifications to our phones and can view live or recorded footage while away. Hopefully we won't need to upgrade our cellular data plan.
For now, we still have our Defender Phoenix DVR system running in parallel, and will probably continue to use it as a window to our driveway and as backup security.
I still haven't installed the second camera, as I'm pretty sure I will need to install an ethernet cable to it as well. but I'll figure it out.
The camera mount is not as flexible on this model and there is only one axis adjustment (just 90 degrees) once mounted. So I would suggest installing only one mounting screw (to enable swivel) until aiming is correct. The Phoenix model mount has unlimited ball joint X-Y axis adjustment.
It seems I always need to sign into the app after another authorized user (my wife) has logged in. A bit of an inconvenience but maybe a good security safeguard?
....still learning.
