The problem with this build it inside is most everything in the base/hills is cantilevered and hollow, and many pieces are only supported or joined by single pegs, often skipping over the chance to make the slopes sit on all the pegs even. As you put the castle together, it is very hard to make the hills solid and squish them back together, causing everything to fall apart. The various "joists" in the middle are held on with a single peg. If you compare the base design of "Tranquil Garden" you will see something completely rock solid and sufficiently better made. It's a shame as I really like the look and how all the small parts come together.

This is the 2nd item I have received and pieces are missing. When I tried to get the missing piece they wound not send it because I have gone over the limit of requesting missing pieces.

The castle is pieced together on four single rail bricks that balance on one link on each end. There is no support under the middle of the structure and it is virtually impossible to snap the individual builds into place without risk of total collapse. Definitely not a beginner build - needs to be a builder with lots of extra bricks on hand to stabilize the structure properly from the start.

If you wish to rebuild the set, we'd suggest double checking your build as there may be a piece slightly off from where it should be and make sure each piece is pressed tightly together. This is one of the better builds I've done. The designs were very straight forward and there weren't any complex patterns or connections. The build went together extremely fast for me.

I bought the Neuschwanstein Castle for my son who is in the Navy, for Christmas! He is a Lego fan and absolutely loved the gift. He couldn’t wait to build it! Beautiful castle to say the least! Thank you so much!
