I was so excited to see this set that I ordered it instantly. But once I started working on it, I quickly found myself highly frustrated. Some of the sections are hardly sturdy at all and pieces kept coming loose and falling off all during the build to where I build the side sections multiple times. The final straw was when the insides came apart just as I was working on the cockpit and then a ton of little pieces just wouldn't stay together at all. So I threw in the towel and am now returning the set. The lack of reinforcers really bugged me--especially when things kept coming loose inside the ship after a section was fully built. The Mandalorian ship was a much bigger build but the quality was present. This set is the first major disappointment for me and it's the first time I've ever wanted to toss a Lego set out the window. I would not recommend this set to a beginner at all.
When this first came out, I told myself I was going to wait, we'll I did for a whole month lol. Love this set, what an incredible build. Very advanced build, loved it. The only issue i had was some of the pieces around the rim will easily come off so watch where you grab the ship when you pick it up. The stand holds the ship very well. Just an incredible Set.
if you had trouble building this set i recommend not getting more ucs sets this was fairly easy and is one of the best looking sets we have received in a while
This set completely outdoes itself. I never expected it to make the UCS Slave I look dated, but somehow it does. The build is fantastic, and the Jango Fett minifigure is top-tier. My only gripe is with the Boba—it could’ve been better. Overall, though, this is an outstanding set.
Insanely accurate depiction of the ship from Attack of the Clones, incredibly sturdy, and features that go beyond what would've been expected in a UCS set. However, despite the build quality, it did contain far too many stickers for my liking, with some even having inaccurate coloration relative to the other bricks in the build (i.e., the canopy stickers.) The Boba Fett mini figure is also low quality in the set, lacking his signature boots & having a questionable hair piece. Otherwise, the set itself is beyond amazing & is easily one of LEGO's best Star Wars sets to date.
Been a LEGO fan and Star Wars fan since about the same age (4 yrs). This set didn't disappoint in either category. It's clear from the details and smooth operation of the moving parts that the designer spent a lot of time making sure that everything was smooth and easy. I have all the other Sl4v3 1 sets save the one from Betrayal At Cloud City (75222; yes even the Advent Calendar one). I'm excited to display this next to the UCS Boba Fett Sl4v3 1 (75060). If I had one criticism, why didn't LEGO include 2-3 more minfigs for the $$ - an Aurra Sing, Taun We, and/or a SuperBattle Droid - with this set? 75060 had 4.
