Boba Fett has always been my favorite character in the Star Wars universe. When I saw that they were going to be doing Jango’s ship I was ecstatic. The build was so much fun, and I can’t say enough about the details of it, and the color scheme. There were a few things that happened that made this less than perfect. For one the engines kept falling off. I think it was a horrible design to have them barely attach to a pole. The next thing is. I had to have been missing a least 6 pieces. Luckily I had some left over pieces. Just seems for as much as it is. It would have been designed a little better.

I didn't plan on buying this but when I actually saw it I quickly changed my mind. Much bigger than I thought it was going to be and really fun to build. A very small minus for the stickers but not enough to even take away a point! Excellent build Lego!

As of the time of writing this I am at the halfway point of building this set. The base of the ship is constructed and the frame of the front rises, providing the silhouette of the ship we know and love.
Every step of this build has been a master class of creating curves from straight lines, structural engineering to rival many actual real-life ships and greebling of the highest order. This build has been a wonderful experience with me doing about a quarter of it per day when I have time. I intend for it to be finished this weekend and properly on display with my other sets in my collection.
Now that I have given my glowing review of the set I will lay out my limited complaints, which will likely align with most online. The first minor issue is with Boba Fetts hair. It seems entirely the wrong style for the character, which is strange as we have seen him before with a much more accurate hair piece. A very small gripe, but something that just seemed strange. Otherwise, my only issue is the overabundance of stickers. On UCS sets it always surprises me how many stickers are utilized. I work hard to align them, but it is never quite right. Even when placed perfectly it can result in an outline around the sticker that breaks the seamless lines of the otherwise wonderful design. Credit where it is due though, at least the plaque is printed this time, unlike with the far more expensive Razor Crest set. I understand that printing on pieces is expensive, but when a set is this well designed and crafted, it feels like a half measure to finalize this project.
All in all I am very happy with this set and am excited to display it alongside my other UCS and standard sets alike. More than anything I am just happy to have the set as soon as I do since it is difficult to get with long shipping times and “low” store inventory. If you can find one, or are okay with waiting, definitely pick one up. You won’t be disappointed.
