I recieved the original Jango Fett's Slave 1 as a kid, so I was very excited when this one was released. This set was a blast to build and very visually stunning. Also, very swooshable!
This set for 2025 was probably perfect in every way when you look at what else we got this year. This set completely made the 2015 Boba Fett slave I look terrible. The angles and curvature on this set are just boldly perfect. This set is also a lot more stable and makes me a lot more confident to pick up instead of the older Slave I or the new tiny tank. I will say though, I do wish that there weren't much gaps in the design of the build when trying to get the curvature done. And then you also have the extremely mid Minifigures. The Jango Fett Minifigure was amazing, except he doesn't have his earpiece when he's in the cockpit, really takes away from the face when he's in cockpit. And then the Boba fett Minifigure, I can't even look at it, it lacks dual molded legs, it has the wrong hairpiece, wrong color belt, wrong shirt curves, and also needs different colored arms. My final gripe with the set is the name of the set. It really should've been Slave 1. It's literally the canon name of the ship, but instead its Jango fett's starship. And whats interesting is that when we look at sets like the justifier or the onyx cinder, those are the actual names of the ships, not cad bane's starship. But overall, I would say that this was the perfect Lego star wars set for 2025
I love how lego try's to make their sets as sturdy as possible and this one is but there is a few parts to this build where it can be some what flimsy like the main blasters which was kind of a bummer as shown in the picture but overall very fun build and lore wise i love it would definitely recommend if your a fan of episodes 1-3 especially

We're sorry that your new set was missing parts. We understand how disappointing this must have been. Reach out to our awesome advisors at LEGO.build/Service-BV and they'll be more than happy look into replacing them for you!
Great building experience, just as good as I remember the 2016 Slave I being, with the added ingenuity of Lego stepping up to make the base of the ship match the actual geometry of the Slave I. Plus it's great having a UCS with the Jango color scheme of my old 2002 model. My only major gripes are the playability of the seismic charge compartment feels like it could have been more dynamic, and the Boba Fett figure is badly executed. In the day and age where there's dual injection tech, the fact we didn't get that treatment on the legs feels an injustice to the set, and the odd choice of hair for Boba. I guess they went with what I can only assume is his hair being wet on Kamino in Episode II?
Out of all the sets I bought in 2025, this was the best one. Amazing building experience, packed with great techniques and a beautiful colour scheme (not a huge grey Star Wars set for a change). Very nice addition for the shelf behind me on my videos.
I don't usually write reviews, but this set was too good not to. I didn't even know legos could make the kinds of shapes found on this ship but somehow they did and the designers are geniuses for that. Its well deserving of its 18+. Easily the best set I've ever made and I HIGHLY recommend!
