This set for 2025 was probably perfect in every way when you look at what else we got this year. This set completely made the 2015 Boba Fett slave I look terrible. The angles and curvature on this set are just boldly perfect. This set is also a lot more stable and makes me a lot more confident to pick up instead of the older Slave I or the new tiny tank. I will say though, I do wish that there weren't much gaps in the design of the build when trying to get the curvature done. And then you also have the extremely mid Minifigures. The Jango Fett Minifigure was amazing, except he doesn't have his earpiece when he's in the cockpit, really takes away from the face when he's in cockpit. And then the Boba fett Minifigure, I can't even look at it, it lacks dual molded legs, it has the wrong hairpiece, wrong color belt, wrong shirt curves, and also needs different colored arms. My final gripe with the set is the name of the set. It really should've been Slave 1. It's literally the canon name of the ship, but instead its Jango fett's starship. And whats interesting is that when we look at sets like the justifier or the onyx cinder, those are the actual names of the ships, not cad bane's starship. But overall, I would say that this was the perfect Lego star wars set for 2025
I would recommend this to a friend!

one of the coolest lego star wars sets, of one of the coolest star wars ships with the best jango minifig yet, if you got the cash, how can you not?
As a set intended for adults, I don’t care about playability or minifigures. What matters is build experience and display. It was a really cool build with crazy techniques to get the curvature of the ship correct. And the blue/green/yellow color scheme displays great with other Star Wars sets that are mostly just gray. As far as the display plaque saying Starship, it’s not up to LEGO so I don’t fault them. All said it’s a must buy.
Value: This is a great display piece, since every corner is detailed. A colorful breath of fresh air too, compared to the plethora of gray sets we get every year. The price/what-you-get ratio is great, at almost 10 cents/piece with new molds, new minifigures, and some relatively larger pieces. I do think that in a large set there should be less stickers, and I think some of the design budget could have gone to dual molded legs for Boba instead of new part shapes. It's a great value for what you get, but there is a good amount of room for improvement.
Accuracy: The new Jango with arm printing is the best one we've gotten and looks very accurate, however I wish one of the face printings had the headset he wears while on his ship. Boba Fett, however, doesn't have an accurate hair piece, and he could have come with a poncho like in the movie. I don't think he's as bad as others are saying. A lot of the parts went to making the ship as accurate as possible, which makes it look accurate from all angles, and I'm thoroughly impressed.
Build experience: It took me around 7 hours building this set, and I enjoyed every minute of it. There were a lot of good techniques, it wasn't repetitive at all, and I liked seeing how all the different angles came together. There are some stickers that are a bit difficult to align properly though, which could have been prints to make the build process smoother.
Pros: - Very iconic ship, great display piece - Solid build experience - Attention to detail Cons: - Some inaccuracies in the Boba fig - Hard to align stickers
Overall, if you are a Prequel fan, this is a great set to pick up/save up for. I was disappointed I missed out on the one from 2010 bc I thought that one looked great, but man this one is so much better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts about this set! We're happy to hear how much you enjoyed the building experience and appreciate you letting us know what we could've done to make it even better. We're also glad you were able to get your own Jango Fett's Firespray-Class Starship after missing out on the last one!
This build is very fun and uses some interesting techniques. Jango is a great fig and Boba has some issues. The build is absolutely incredible aside from all the stickers. My only gripe with it is that some of the larger pieces should be printed as they are very difficult to get perfect. The canopy, the 2 curved side pieces that transition from green to blue, and the yellow/white stickers around the cockpit are good examples as they need to be lined up well to look good.
Just finished building the new Jango Fett’s Slave I set, and I’m genuinely blown away. The design is absolutely stellar. Lego really nailed the sleek, aggressive lines of the ship while still keeping everything sturdy and well balanced.
The build itself is deeply satisfying. It's one of those sets where every section feels like a mini engineering puzzle. Watching all the intricate pieces come together, especially the rotating wings and internal cockpit, is a rewarding experience.
From a display standpoint, this thing commands attention. The color scheme is sharp, the shaping is spot-on, and it looks amazing from any angle. Whether you're a diehard Star Wars fan or just a Lego builder who appreciates great design, this ship delivers on all fronts.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun to build and even more fun to show off. It’s more than a model, it’s a conversation piece.
I grew up with the prequel trilogy. I was always in awe of Slave I and Jango Fett and to finally have an ultimate collector series model of Slave I feels like a childhood dream come true. The thing looks incredible. Displays really well and is a must buy for any fan of the prequel or Star Wars in general. The color scheme is amazing. The minifigures are fine and honestly for me it’s all about the ship.
