Over all the build was amazing creative, and thankfully very little repetitive motions. The only negative is pieces that could have been printed were stickers. But over all that takes this from 100% perfection to 98%.

This is a great display piece, since every corner is detailed. A colorful breath of fresh air too, compared to the plethora of gray sets we get every year. The price/what-you-get ratio is great, at almost 10 cents/piece with new molds, new minifigures, and some relatively larger pieces. I do think that in a large set there should be less stickers, and I think some of the design budget could have gone to dual molded legs for Boba instead of new part shapes. It's a great value for what you get, but there is a good amount of room for improvement.

Accuracy:
The new Jango with arm printing is the best one we've gotten and looks very accurate, however I wish one of the face printings had the headset he wears while on his ship. Boba Fett, however, doesn't have an accurate hair piece, and he could have come with a poncho like in the movie. I don't think he's as bad as others are saying. A lot of the parts went to making the ship as accurate as possible, which makes it look accurate from all angles, and I'm thoroughly impressed.

It took me around 7 hours building this set, and I enjoyed every minute of it. There were a lot of good techniques, it wasn't repetitive at all, and I liked seeing how all the different angles came together. Overall, if you are a Prequel fan, this is a great set to pick up/save up for. I was disappointed I missed out on the one from 2010 bc I thought that one looked great, but man this one is so much better.

As a set intended for adults, I don’t care about playability or minifigures. What matters is build experience and display. It was a really cool build with crazy techniques to get the curvature of the ship correct. And the blue/green/yellow color scheme displays great with other Star Wars sets that are mostly just gray. As far as the display plaque saying Starship, it’s not up to LEGO so I don’t fault them. All said it’s a must buy.

The set is amazing and I dont have that many complaints besides the fact that the green pieces on the side keep coming off easily for some odd reason. Some people advised me to press it hard and i have done and nothing seems to work. At this point I don’t know if I’m the only experiencing that or people have pointed out. So Im at the point to either dissemble completely and finish it like that. I have even contemplated the idea of using crazy glue. i did forget to mentioned that Im frustrated….Also i do feel that it should have not been sticker rather that blocks that were printed. I would lean more towards the printed pieces instead.

The new Jango Fett Starship set is one of the best entries in the UCS line up. Taking fame from the classic 2015 UCS Slave 1, this set does it better.
I have both. I was a little hesitant to buy this set at first, but pulled the trigger on 4/30. I'm sure I was one of the first to purchase it.
The build experience is fluid. Took me about 8 hours. The booklet offers a lot of insight into how the Slave 1 came to be. Nice to see more Attack of the Clones in Lego.
The size is about the same as the 2015 version, but with a little less than 1,000 more parts, you feel it in the weight. The model is solid, structurally sound, and generally wont fall apart.
The stickers and Young Boba are a contention for most fans. Boba is a bad minifigure, straight up. Jango on the other hand has immaculate arm printing. The stickers are also not an issue. I lined mine up with edges and fixed most of the issue.
Worth buying.

I recently encountered rumors that the Slave I was receiving an Ultimate Collector’s Edition, and as someone whose childhood was deeply shaped by this iconic ship—through the films, video games, and toys—I was filled with excitement. Naturally, you can imagine my profound disappointment upon purchasing the product, only to find it labeled as “Jango Fett’s Starship.” What a disheartening oversight.
While I recognize that LEGO is not entirely at fault, this instance reflects a growing pattern of inaccuracies and rebranding decisions that diminish both the emotional resonance and perceived value of these products. For many consumers, especially long-standing fans, such inconsistencies erode the justification needed to make these substantial purchases. Worthy successor to the OG UCS GOAT

I own the original UCS Slave I set, and I've long considered it one of the best in the line, so I was extremely interested to see how the modern take would treat it.
I am pleased to report that the new variant is constructed in broadly different ways, but remains top of its class in employing advanced construction techniques to create a superb end product. The reverse side especially feels like it was designed to be viewed moreso than with the original UCS variant.
The lowering ramp to extend the hatch door works extremely well, but this set feels like much more of a display piece than the older version. The wings are connected to rotate in tandem, but the inner cockpit is no longer attached.
All in all, this is absolutely a banger set, and if you were the correct age to get deeply enamoured with Star Wars Episode II you will not be disappointed in this set.
