My first creator set. I only did the house but I loved it! There wasn’t anything too complicated or frustrating. I did it in 3 settings just because I didn’t have a big chunk of time to commit to it. In total it took me about 4-5 hours. I have only been building a few weeks (34 year old mom here). My 10 year old only had to explain a couple things to me 😅

Wow, what a fun set. I technically bought this for myself, but built it with my kids (4 and 2). It was fun and easy enough for young kids to put together with help, while still including some really cool interactive elements. We've only built the house version so far, but we're all loving it. I've been saying for YEARS that more Lego sets should open like dollhouses. I have to remove a whole floor of my Twilight set to reposition Rosalie and her salad bowl! We're having so much fun making up stories with our characters and moving them around the house. 10/10. Give whoever thought of this a raise!

Perfect for Halloween fans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a blast to put together! As a puzzle fan, I’ve always been curious about LEGO, but have never purchased a large scale build like this before. I absolutely am now a fan! I love Halloween, so when I saw this design, I was immediately drawn to it. The haunted mansion theme is so cute and all of the details are incredible. I love that it’s interesting from all angles. I love the haunted organ inside and the little rotating ghost in the window is so cute. Also the mini figs are all so fun and detailed! It’s also on hinges so you can open and close the house, such a cool detail!!
One of the other interesting things about this particular design is that the pieces can build more than one thing. There’s the haunted house, a boat, and a train, that’s 3 designs all in one! I was a little nervous when I saw how many pieces were included, but everything was divided out into 6 different bags and the instructions were very well written. I had a few points where I had to take a few things apart and reassemble them the correct way, but I’m definitely a beginner so that’s no surprise! I used my own puzzle trays to separate out the pieces and it kept things very organized. It took me off-and-on about a day to put together and was a very low stress and so much fun. Seriously the most perfect Fall activity. I already have new builds on my wishlist, because I absolutely had so much fun with this one! I think this is a great design for newbies to LEGO, and it definitely was well thought out and the final build is awesome! Can’t wait to display it for Halloween!
