The build was ok but the lack of masonry bricks made this build look cheap and being that it costs more than the last castle 3 in 1 it’s a shame but the figures definitely make up for the castles flaws.. overall I’ll recommend to get one and hope the figs come to PAB

I'm a long time Castle fan, so anytime something new in the Castle world is released I'm eager to get it. I admit to being a little disappointed in the set overall, or maybe underwhelmed is a better word. The new factions are great, very happy to see some expansion there. The brick built horses are clever, kudos to the design team, but I'm glad to not have to build a dozen of them and kids may have to work a little to get them built. The overall build is fun, with nice features and playability. Where I was a bit let down was that the scale of the castle seems too small for the minis, like it's 7/8 of the size it should be, which made me feel like the overall design was rushed. But, happy to have more Lego knights and a new castle, so would recommend to others.

...occurred when the LEGO group made their 3n1 dragon, and Castle which has now given new life to a core theme that is worthy of legacy collecting. As one who grew up with some of the best and most iconic lego castles this one would have topped them all if I were to have gotten it as a child. There are so many more colors and accessories in modern bricks that add so many play features. The brick built horses are fun to customize, and now the farrier can actually change a shoe! I guess the one down side is the horses have to be positioned carefully to stand, so I do hope other sets in the future continue with the horse mold, but in this case I am greatful for the brick built ones that will have great parts usage for the many creations that can come with the bricks in the set which are great for unlimited potential. The mini figures are also well done... but please LEGO its not done! Where is the princess? the rest of the kingdom, not to mention more for the snake nights? or the Griffen and Kracken knights? I really hope parents see the value in the creativity and purity of the castle theme for toys so that will ensure more sets to come... as for me my inner child is quite happy with it. As for the built itself I do think it would have benefited from more landscape for more color. For that I will want to re create this into a tower keep on top of a hill. so that is also what makes this set great is that it is good but will want to also make new things out of it, whilst some more refined builds like the Lions knight castle are pretty much flawless as they are. So I hope you enjoy this as much as I did and await for the snake castle which we all hope will come next!

Building process was fairly easy, the set looks great and is pretty sizable. Only small issue is that the connector pieces are easy to disconnect.

Liked the castle build itself, the alternate builds are nice. Hated the brick built horses, just give us horses with saddles or barding. If more than one faction is going to be in the set give us more than one figure for additional play. My grandkids love to play with this set.

Lego did a nice job of designing a set that emphasizes playability without feeling 2D. My son really likes the great hall and main tower, and enjoys the functionality of the drawbridge.
