Easy Install, Strong Cooling!

Once installed, I tested the cooling performance with a temp gun and measured about a 20% temperature difference, which is exactly what you want to see from a unit like this. It works well, cools the room efficiently, and so far has been reliable.
If you're looking for a smaller window unit that's easy to install and gets the job done, this Whirlpool model is a solid choice.

This unit fits perfectly in our bedroom window, and keeps the room frigidly cold (or comfortably cold based on your preferences!). It’s easy to set up, too. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in South AL so this is something that I can definitely get some use out of!!! It's just getting hot enough to turn the ACs on. This unit is 5000 BTU which is good for a basic size room like a bedroom and gives each person control over the temperature in their room. The installation was quite standard. So far, doing it's job!
