The green elf hat was manufactured wrong and will not go on elf head pn: 6501719 and replacement part says no part found.. maybe lego will correct this for me

We bought this set to complement our growing Holiday village. It has a lot of cute details and delivers mail from our Holiday Post Office.. The kids love the box on the back as it opens up. They like to store the little packages back there or pretend a bad guy jumps out and try to take over Santa's village.
The Holiday village sets are way better than the ceramic houses my parents had. The kids (and me) can play with our display and we can smash it, store it all in a single box, and rebuild it each year. So much fun!
