So cute & easy to assemble

I bought two of these kits for my 10 year old son (advanced builder) and our 8 year old neighbor (less advanced builder). It was a breeze for my son to put together- took him less than 15 minutes but it took our neighbor a little longer. They are really cute and come with extra rings and a few extra pieces. My son likes taking his apart and rebuilding them (Santa is very Picasso-esque at the moment). I purchased additional sets of these as well as the gingerbread ones for a work holiday party and they were also a hit among the adults.

My grandson is on the spectrum. We connected initially with the big Legos. Then we moved on to bigger builds. I give guidance and let him set the pace. Sometimes we have to stop and imagine play. I ALWAYS MEET HIM WHERE HE IS AT. We have something we call the “Zen” of Lego. We slow down, and yes we put our forefinger and thumb together and take a deep breath, read the instructions, and build. Mistakes? That’s ok, back out and do over. As he says, “Kiki we are awesome in Lego land.” Yes Buddy, yes we are…

These ornaments are actually pretty adorable. The build was fairly simple but the end product is a showstopper in my opinion. These are really nice Christmas ornaments. You can easily take them apart and put them together again next year or just leave them assembled and take them out next year with the rest of your decorations. Nice looking ornaments. 👍🏼
