Don't buy for kids

My son is almost 12 and pretty decent at building Lego sets. The set says 12 and up however this was a struggle. I never saw him more frustrated with something that is supposed to be fun. The pieces are way too delicate and barely stay in place even when fully snapped in. Any mistakes or fallen pieces cannot be put back without other parts falling off. Even with my help it still took a very long time to build most of it. Still not finished.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nightmare before Christmas Wreath

We complete 1-2 Lego sets a week. This has been by far the worst set we have ever built. Every piece comes apart when you put the next piece in. The leaves and other greenery are so tightly packed in that you can’t maneuver around it. I do not recommend this set unless you value your sanity.

Touch It And It Crumbles

One of the worst Lego builds I’ve ever experienced. Fought to get pieces into too shallow holders. Barely touching it causes it to crumble into pieces. Not secure at all.

This was an easy but a very fun build. The display is great and is truly a centerpiece for the holiday and Christmas season! I 100% recommend and true value for money and what a beautiful display set.

I usually build large modulars. This build was frustrating. At the last page I just threw the whole thing away. It was overstuffed. Each additional piece caused 5 others to fall off. A waste of money.

Frustrating build. Item falls apart so easily that I cannot complete it. In a desperate attempt to finish it I even tried to glue it together(first time I've ever tried to do that with Lego) and even that wasn't successful.

It should never be necessary to use glue to keep your sets together. We'd recommend you double-check your build as it may be that one or two pieces are just slightly off from where they should be. I've never had this problem before but the pieces wouldn't lock securely. The pieces kept falling off the base. They didn't seem to fasten to the base well. Very frustrating.

I am currently working on this set and boy, it’s a pain in the butt. Not fun at all bc nothing stays on securely. You get one piece on and another falls off. They seriously should have to do refunds or something at this point. Looking at the reviews, looks like I’m not the only one…not even close! I have done sets like the Twilight one with more ease! This one was supposed to be a fun Christmas gift from my mom, now I’m wishing she had given me a more enjoyable gift, maybe a slap in the face!
