An unsuspectingly challenging build

The most challenging build I've experienced yet. I completed 2/3 of the set, then realized I made errors that were very easily overlooked, had to deconstruct the set completely, and go back to step 1. Be very mindful in assembling the foundation of the book as the steps often require you to flip each book cover over and sideways repeatedly when adding on new bricks, and its very easy to overlook the directions specifics. The steps are so intricate and detailed, don't assume you're building it correct. Double check your work. I urge use of the 3D app for this build, I imagine the building instructions would be even easier to make errors with. However, the final result is even better than I imagined. Well worth the effort. A very fun and challenging build.

I think this is cute. It wasn't a difficult build. My major complaint is the colors on the inside. If you have glass display shelves you'll see them. I wish that was different. Also another reviewer mentioned making it to look like it had more pages. That would have been a good idea. All in all a wonderful piece to add to my collection next to my older one.

Harry Potter Lego sets are so cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Harry Potter Lego set is very cool! It’s not a set that you may see flying off the shelves but to those who love the movies, this is definitely cool to have! It comes with 518 pieces and took me a little while to assemble without rushing. Given there are a lot of small pieces I would recommend this to a teenager even though it says 9 plus. Overall it’s a very cool and challenging set!

An Unexpected Good Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ahh, this was so much fun to put together! I haven’t played with Legos since childhood but I’m glad I rediscovered the magic. The assembly instructions were very clear and the pieces are nice and durable. I could see myself breaking this down, packing it away and taking it out to reassemble at some point in the future. I’m even considering buying a different set!
