Loved putting this together!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a fun lego set up! The Heavy Duty Recovery Tow Truck with Crane was so much fun to put together with my son. There are a lot of pieces, but the instructions are clear for the most part. I think my only suggestion would be to put the color in text of the legos, as some of the images in the directions get confusing based on color. Overall a fun and toy for my son!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Built this set today and it’s awesome. Kept me entertained for several hours. Was very easy to assemble with clear directions. The crane actually works, the dump truck is legit, and the little boulders are a fun touch. The rotating tow truck is super detailed and way sturdier than I expected. Definitely more engaging than most sets because you can actually play out rescues when it’s done. Worth every brick.

My son and I had a blast building the crane and are in the process of building the dump truck. Patience is key, since there are so many small pieces that can be lost in the process. Overall, it has been a pleasant bonding experience for our family, and has allowed us to spend more time together having fun. Definitely recommend if you enjoy puzzles.

It’s so much fun!

Once it was put together, it stayed put even though he is hard on all his toys. I do watch him while he plays with it, to be sure it is safe.

The build is thoughtfully organized—each step flows smoothly, and both the printed instructions and the LEGO Builder app make assembly a breeze. Small marvels, like the rotating crane arm, deployable outriggers, and a working winch, bring so much realism to the play experience.
Technic fans will especially appreciate the sophisticated engineering. The pneumatic system is mesmerizing to play with—I loved watching the crane lift and move, often powered with just a couple pumps. And being the first LEGO Technic model with a lifting axle to extend extra wheels—pure ingenuity.
The design is striking too—the sleek truck looks robust and realistic, and even the hidden details (like the six-cylinder engine under the hood) speak to LEGO’s attention to detail.

Highly organized LEGO set keep kids busy for hours

Inside the box is a booklet and with corresponding numbers that match the bags of legos. How perfectly organized! Great illustrations of projects to put together. Perfect for the child and adult! Also listed is the Lego website for more details or resources. Although highly recommended not to have this set around small children that would place the Lego inside their mouth. They are a choking hazard.
