Charming Build

The build itself is enjoyable and relaxing, with enough variety to keep things interesting despite its relatively small size. It is a rather quick build in just over an hour. The mandrake elements are especially cute and make the set stand out. My main criticism is the price. While the build quality and design are excellent, the set feels significantly overpriced for the number of pieces included. You're clearly paying a premium for the Harry Potter branding, but it's hard to ignore the value comparison with other LEGO sets in the same price range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun build packed with whimsy

This set captures the classic mandrake scene in the botany class very well. The structure is also a great greenhouse, and gives diversity to the rest of the Hogwarts castle build. Every surface is packed with magical plants.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid set, high price

This would be a near perfect score if this was closer to 25 dollars. There’s a lot of detail packed into a small space, some very unique pieces like the mandrake root. However, only 3 mini figures, one of which is a downgrade from a previous version. And it feels quite small for 50 dollars, even if it opens up. Also, it doesn’t look spectacular on its own and I imagine it’s better when connected to the rest of the castle. Overall, it’s a decent *addition*, but highly overpriced and hard to justify on its own.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my gosh! This is SO cute! We are a big Harry Potter household and loved getting this Lego! The Hogwarts Castle: Herbology Class Lego is so cute. I like that it opens up and you can play with the characters. It was very easy to put together and the instructions were very straightforward. I would definitely buy more of these if they make them!

I have been doing it with my boyfriend. We are halfway done with it. And excited to finish it it’s super easy and simple to follow the booklet and so far it’s looking just like it looks like on the box. What are you doing? Get yourself a Lego.

Great for all ages

My dad and brother in law worked on this with me and they all thoroughly enjoyed building not only just a Lego set but a Harry Potter themed Lego set. It was nice to see something that people of all ages could still get into and it wasn’t super hard to build but kept us all occupied for a bit of time. Nice getting to do some of my favorite childhood past times as an adult!
